The program is open to registration. You can register and start the program TODAY if you are ready! Once your registration payment is processed, you will be automatically enrolled and will receive a "Welcome" email containing your login credentials. The email will be sent to the email address used at the time of registration.

YES! All content is online and self-paced. Please keep in mind that not all travel industry completion certificates are recognized internationally. Please check your country’s regulations before registering for the coursework offered in preparation for the Travel Agent Education Certification (TAEC™) exam.

YES! The program is 40-45 hours. At a leisurely - yet, committed - pace we anticipate the program taking between four to five weeks to complete. Some have completed the curriculum in as little as three weeks! The program is self-paced, and you will have access to the platform for 90 days from date of registration.

With some, you can. However, several require experience or travel education certification. We would encourage anyone considering a new professional path to learn more about the industry. Completing the comprehensive coursework Travel Agent Education Powered by Avoya offers will provide you with the industry basics needed to develop your confidence and knowledge, building a solid foundation for your journey to becoming an industry expert.

What’s Included in the Travel Agent Education Certification Package:

The Travel Agent Education Certification (TAEC™) coursework and exam are modern and comprehensive, designed specifically for those interested in becoming a travel advisor or an independent travel agency owner. Completion of the TAEC is required to join the Avoya Travel Network™, but if you choose to take a different path in your journey to become a travel advisor, this program provides an incredible foundation to help you succeed. Each product or service bundle offers unique benefits. You are purchasing a limited-time offer that must be redeemed and completed by the original purchaser within 100 days from the date of purchase.

• Comprehensive online, self-paced program. Twenty sections with more than 125 lessons, including “Test Your Knowledge” quizzes for each section. Content covers travel industry basics, preparing for success, industry suppliers, business ideas, types of leisure travel, geography, and more!

Upon completion and passing of the final exam, you will receive your Avoya Travel Academy Travel Agent Education Certificate.

Things to Know:

• Most students spend 40 to 45 hours completing the coursework and taking the final exam. While the program is robust, it’s designed to avoid overwhelming you with unnecessary details, and we know you want to get started with your new business as quickly as possible!
• Due to the nature of travel and the products and services we provide, you’ll have 100 days to complete the courses and successfully pass the TAEC exam if you wish to receive a certificate.
• The TAEC course content is provided in both written and audio formats for ease of use and learning. Note: The “Test Your Knowledge” quizzes and the TAEC exam are only available in written format.
• Once you pass the TAEC exam, you’ll be eligible to affiliate with the Avoya Travel Network for just $395 (compared to the standard $495).
• The Travel Agent Education Certification (TAEC) program was developed for the U.S. market. While anyone is welcome to purchase the educational portion, becoming an Independent Agency in the Avoya Travel Network is only open to businesses residing in the United States.
